Hi! We are Ardor Media, an animation studio that has been creating video creatives for mobile games and apps for over 5 years. We work with clients from the US, Europe, and the CIS, and leading global developers trust us. Our team now includes more than 40 strong specialists, and we continue to grow.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an in-house English specialist who can combine two key functions: improving the team’s English through individual and group training, and supporting our creative production process by adapting ideas, concepts, and scripts into natural, market-relevant English.
This is not a standard translation role. We need someone who understands how English should sound in real marketing and video content: concise, organic, culturally relevant, and suitable for clients, end users, subtitles, text overlays, UGC scripts, and performance creatives.
The role will be especially important for helping our creative producers turn Russian-language ideas into clear, natural, and engaging English for the US market.
As part of the English training function, we expect this person to build lessons around employees’ real work context: their roles, responsibilities, communication needs, and the types of tasks they handle in English.
Responsibilities
English Training
Conduct corporate English lessons for company employees, including:

one-on-one and group sessions;
-
different levels, approximately A2–C1;
-
practical speaking, writing, and business communication;
-
role-specific English practice based on employees’ actual responsibilities;
-
language support for employees working with international clients and English-language content.
Build lesson topics and materials around each employee’s professional context, including their role, area of responsibility, typical communication tasks, and real work scenarios.
Help the team improve both spoken and written English in a practical, work-related format rather than through generic language lessons.
Creative Localization, Editing & AI Translation Supervision
Translate, edit, and adapt creative materials from Russian to English, including:

video concepts;
-
Scripts;
-
UGC scripts;
-
Subtitles;
-
text overlays;
-
short in-video phrases;
-
client-facing creative ideas and presentations.
Supervise and improve AI-generated translations to make sure the final English is natural, accurate, culturally appropriate, and ready to be shown to clients.
Adapt creative ideas for English-speaking audiences, especially the US market, avoiding literal translation and focusing on meaning, tone, context, and native-like phrasing.
Help creative producers find the right English wording for jokes, hooks, claims, CTAs, emotional phrases, slang, and culturally specific ideas.
Ensure that English-language scripts sound organic for UGC creators and can realistically be spoken by native or fluent English speakers.
Collaborate closely with creative producers, editors, and account/client-facing teams.
Requirements:

English level: C1–C2, mandatory.

Russian level: native or C1+, mandatory.

Experience in teaching, tutoring, corporate training, or language coaching.

Ability to tailor lessons to employees’ professional roles, responsibilities, and real work situations.

Strong understanding of how to make English training practical, role-specific, and relevant to employees’ daily tasks.

Strong translation, editing, proofreading, or localization skills.

Understanding of natural, modern, conversational English.

Ability to adapt ideas for the US market, not just translate them literally.

Good understanding of marketing language, video creatives, social media formats, UGC, hooks, CTAs, subtitles, and short-form content.

Ability to work with AI translation tools and critically evaluate/improve their output.

Strong language intuition and attention to detail.

Ability to explain language choices clearly to non-native speakers.

Interest in creative production, advertising, social media, and performance marketing.
Nice to Have:

Experience with UGC scripts, TikTok/Reels/Shorts formats, or performance marketing creatives.

Experience localizing content for the US market.

Background in copywriting, creative writing, advertising, or content production.

Experience working with AI tools for translation, editing, or content adaptation.

Experience in an in-house team rather than only freelance translation.
