Kazakhstan International School (KIS) is searching for Kazakh language teacher:

We would like to recruit a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Kazakh language teacher for our expanding school.

Candidates are expected to possess a commitment to creating and managing a caring, supportive, purposeful, and stimulating learning environment which is conducive to children’s learning. Candidates should also be able to easily adapt to new cultures and environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, prepare and deliver high quality lessons to suit the individual needs of all students;
  • To teach and educate students according to the educational needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students;
  • Possess a creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom;
  • Present excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills in order to work collaboratively with staff, students and Parents;
  • Support the learning of individuals and groups of students as identified in the weekly curriculum planning and to act as a role model, setting high expectations;
  • Observe, record and support the development and progress of students to identify individual needs and difficulties and to feedback to students in relation to their progress and achievement;
  • Actively contribute to the wider life of the school by organizing and running appropriate extracurricular and out of school hours learning activities;
  • Plan work according to work schemes, taking into account the curriculum and international programs;
  • Collaborate with other teachers to share new ideas, approaches and professional knowledge;
  • Be an active presence in the school;

Our requirements:

  • Higher Degree Diploma: Kazakh language teacher;
  • At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in international schools;
  • Ability to teach native and non-native speakers of Kazakh;
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent lifelong learning skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • High sense of responsibility and flexibility;

  • Working schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
