English Language Instructor

About the Role

IT Park University is seeking a qualified and motivated ESP Instructor to teach English for Specific Purposes (ESP) to undergraduate students specializing in Information Technology and related fields.

As the first university in Uzbekistan focused on practical IT education and hybrid learning delivery, IT Park University prepares students for successful careers in the technology sector. We are looking for an instructor who can help students develop strong English language skills for academic, professional, and IT-related environments.

This is a predominantly online teaching position involving live instruction, student assessment, academic support, and contribution to the continuous improvement of English language courses.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging online English language classes to university students.
• Teach General English, Academic English, and English for IT-related contexts.
• Assess student assignments, presentations, and examinations, providing constructive and timely feedback.
• Conduct consultations and provide academic support to students.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
• Contribute to course development and enhancement of teaching materials.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to ensure high-quality learning outcomes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, English Language Teaching, English Philology, or another relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of English language teaching experience.
• Demonstrated experience teaching English to university students or adult learners.
• Experience teaching English for IT, English for Specific Purposes (ESP), or working with students in technical disciplines.
• Excellent command of English (CEFR C1/C2 level or equivalent).
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively teach in an online learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching English in higher education institutions.
• Experience delivering online or hybrid courses.
• International teaching qualifications (CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent).
• Experience developing teaching materials and assessments.
• Familiarity with learning management systems and educational technologies.

Employment Format

• Part-time position (0.75 FTE).
• Fully remote teaching arrangement.
• Employment and contracting will be arranged in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
